As with any other track, we too have rules. Yeah, we know and we're sorry, but these will be beneficial to your experience at Panther.
There are no open fires allowed. Nobody likes a wildfire raging while they are racing. All critters MUST be on a leash. They may look cute to you, but they look like food to other creatures. We advise you not to bring one at all, but we are understanding folks. No pitbikes. Yep...sorry. If you have a mule (four-wheeled or four-legged) or a golf cart, bring 'em out. Remember though, you need a driver's license to operate it. Here's the most important rule...do not spin tires in the pits! We need that to feed the cows! Jetting area will be provided for all riders. Minor Release InformationThe AMA, our insurance carrier, and common sense, require a parent or legal guardian to sign up a minor rider. For legal purposes, we need a liability release and a minor release form filled out by the parent. For safety sake, you need your parent with you in case you're hurt and need medical treatment. If you are a minor and coming to the track on a race or practice day without your parent or legal guardian, there is a way to ride, you are required to bring a notarized permission note giving another adult permission to sign for you. You can see what your note should contain in the example below. Make sure you have all that information in your note and you will need one for each day you ride. You should have 2 copies of the note, 1 for us to keep and 1 for you to have. We do not like to turn people away but will not make any exceptions to this rule. We are required by AMA to have this each and every time you come to the track with someone else.
In the example, Sam Johnson is someone 18 or over who will be at the track with you all day. We need an original copy of a notarized note for every race or practice day. You should bring an extra copy for Sam to keep in case you are hurt. Every race it seems like we turn away at least one disappointed rider because he or she didn't bring a parent and didn't come prepared with the proper form(s). Don't let this happen to you! |
